Police Support

BWAG are very grateful to the Police for their strong support. There are restrictions on vehicles entering the woods and only vehicles being driven by permit holders may use byway (KH94), which runs from Bredhurst to Detling. The permit system only allows legitimate users access to the byway. Any vehicle (other than contractors) observed on footpaths, bridlepaths or un-made tracks should be reported to the Police on 01622 690690. Police regularly patrol Bredhurst Woods and over the years have seized a number of vehicles which were found being illegally used in the woodland.
