Boxley to Bredhurst Walk

Date: Wednesday 10th September
Time: 10am - Meeting at Penenden Heath Car Park

Details: The Maidstone Ramblers has invited BWAG Members to join their walk which will pass through Bredhurst Hurst. It is approximately an 8 mile walk (stopping for lunch at The Bell) and the route they'll be taking is:

A circular walk via Boxley Church - Grange Farm - Bredhurst - Bredhurst Hurst - Monkdown Wood - Penenden Heath.

Brush Cutter Training Day

Date: Sunday 14th September
Time: 10am - 3pm, Bredhurst Village Hall, Hurstwood Road

Details: Bredhurst Parish Council owns a petrol driven brush cutter (an industrial grass strimmer) which is currently under used as there are not enough people trained to use it.

A training course has been arranged for residents / BWAG Members who would like to help maintain the paths of Bredhurst. It’s free for participants and can accommodate 8 trainees.
